The Office of Student Leadership & Community Development staff is composed of professional staff members committed to developing student leaders and serving the Fordham University community.

Jennifer Mussi, Ph.D., Assistant Dean of Student Leadership & Community Development

Jennifer joined the Division of Student Affairs at Fordham University in June 2000. She served as Director of Student Activities and New Student Orientation for the Lincoln Center Campus until November 2005 and then moved to the Rose Hill Campus to assume the position of Assistant Dean for Student Leadership and Community Development.  Jennifer graduated from Fordham College Rose Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media Studies and the New York University Graduate School of Education with a Master of Arts in Student Personnel Administration.  Jennifer completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Church and Non-Public School Leadership at the Fordham University Graduate School of Education and her dissertation is titled, “Does Mission Matter?  An Exploration of the Relationship Between Jesuit Mission and the New Student Affairs Professional.” Jennifer is a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu National Jesuit Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi, JASPA, NASPA, ACPA, NODA and NACA.  Jennifer has published numerous articles for the NACA  Programming Magazine and presents student and staff development workshops on a variety of topics including leadership, strategic planning, organizational change, student development theory and foundations of Jesuit and Catholic education.  She is an adjunct faculty member in the Graduate School of Education and a member of the Xavier High School Board of Trustees. Jennifer is a native of New York City and a New York Yankees and New York Giants fan.

Regina Fetterolf, Assistant Director of Programming

Regina Fetterolf is the Assistant Director for Programming in the Office of Student Leadership & Community Development. In this position, she serves as the advisor to the Campus Activities Board and the Student Activities Budget Committee. She also assists with the programming and budgeting needs of Fordham’s over 80 clubs and organizations. Regina works the Campus Activities Board in planning several major events on-campus including: Welcome Week, Family Weekend and Spring Weekend. She is originally from Philadelphia and attended Penn State University Abington College, where she received a B.S. in Corporate Communications. Regina completed her M.S. in Applied Educational Psychology with a concentration in College Student Development and Counseling from Northeastern University in Boston. While in her master’s program, she held graduate assistantships in both in the Student Activities Office at Boston University, and the Office of Residential Life at Emmanuel College. Regina believes there is always an opportunity for fun, so she is always programming events, whether it be for the students at Fordham or her friends and family!

Marisa Totino

Marisa, FCRH ’08, serves as the Assistant Director for Campus Center Operations in the Office of Student Leadership and Community Development.  She oversees daily operations and maintenance for the McGinley Center, including the room reservation process and all external reservations.  She also advises the House Committee of United Student Government (USG), The Maroon, and the Senior Week Committee.  During her undergraduate tenure at Fordham, Marisa studied Political Science and Italian Language and Literature, while participating in orientation, student government, and residential life.


Lindsey Renee Jacobs, Graduate Intern for Programming and Leadership

Lindsey Renée Jacobs is the Graduate Intern for Programming and Leadership. In this position she serves as an assistant to the Assitant Director of Programming and Assistant Director of Leadership and Commuter Student Services. She is also the head of the newly formed Late Night Programming Committee which works with students and student clubs to create a more vibrant campus life late at night and on weekends. She is also involved with coordinating Leadership Weekend, Fordham University Emerging Leaders (FUEL) program and sits as the parlamentarian on the Student Life Council. She graduated from Cornerstonestone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a bachelor's degree in Philosophy/Worldview Studies. She has a passion for working with student leaders and especially for working with student clubs and organizations. During her freshman year at Cornerstone she created a new student organization and served as the president for two and a half years. After her junior year she passed on her presidency to a new set of student leaders and was hired to be the Vice President of Student Organizations at Cornerstone University. In that position she advised and oversaw all of the student organizations at the university and created a new system for students to create clubs.

Sylvia is responsible for the smooth operation of the Office of Student Leadership & Community Development. She makes sure the members of the Fordham community and visitors are assisted with any questions or concerns they may have regarding student affairs. Sylvia is responsible for overseeing the student workers and handling the OSL & CD monthly calendar, preparing advertisements for the electronic sign board, approving flyers, and preparing information regarding events and services on and off campus.  She is also responsible for keeping track of Senior Week and Orientation budget lines along with maintaining office inventory. 


Lisandra Miranda, Reservation Coordinator

Lisandra's job is to reserve space and aid in the planning of all non-academic events on campus. She assists in the development of events including choosing the appropriate space. Lisandra provides tables and audio visual equipment for events taking place in the McGinley Center, requests security for events, and makes sure each location is set up and ready prior to the start of each event.


Nick Passantino, Senior Building Manager

As the Senior Building Manager, Nick provides monitors the use of the McGinley Center facilities and provides customer service to facility users during evenings and weekends.  He also supervises the Student Building Manager program, providing guidance and support to our student managers while ensuring continuous administrative presence from our office during all hours of operation.

Bobby serves as the back up to the Reservations Coordinator regarding processing the room request of student organizations and provides administrative assistance to the Assistant Director for Campus Center Operations.
