Fordham is a Regular member of the Middle Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (MAISA), one of seven regional conferences of the Intercollegiate Sailing Association of North America (ICSA), the governing body of College Sailing in the USA. With 45 schools, consisting of 10 varsity and 35 club teams, extending from Canada to Virginia, MAISA is one of the most competitive conferences in the country. At the 2009 ICSA Coed National Championship Tournament, MAISA teams captured three of the top four and five of the top nine positions.
Fordham is currently ranked 10th among all MAISA teams and 2nd among the club teams. Our goals are to qualify for the ICSA National Championship and be the highest finishing club team at that event.
