The Ram Rhythm has excelled far beyond its origins with performances in many competitions and outside arenas. In 2004 and 2005, the team earned the title of Liberty Bell Champions at the Atlantic Championships in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They won a paid bid to compete nationally in the Bahamas last spring. In 2005, they ranked 8th in the nation for Division I Universities at the Universal Dance Association National Competition in Orlando, Florida. Over the years, the team has earned the titles of Northeast Regional Dance Champions, New England Dance Champions and Long Island Dance Champions. The team has also competed in the NCAA National Dance Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida, at which they placed 5th in the Division II finals, and were featured on the USA Network.

Aside from performing and training for competition, Ram Rhythm strives to participate in as much community service as possible. This past year they have taken part in the Big-Brother's, Big Sisters Halloween Party and the NYC Breast Cancer Walk. They have also performed for Tuesday's Children, a Media for Humanity benefit at Turtle Bay, BBBS Christmas party, Special Olympics performance, BBBS Earth Day and participated in Fordham's Community Service Day. The Team is always searching for more opportunities to help the community.

In April 2004, Ram Rhythm was the first College Dance Team featured on ESPN2's morning show, "Cold Pizza."

Perhaps the most important facet of these accomplishments is that the dance team is virtually student run! Collectively they choreograph their own routines, mix their music, create costumes, and run rehearsals, all without the assistance of a coach. While they receive a modest allocation each year from Student Activities, they also raise their own money to fund competitions, summer camp, traveling expenses and costumes.
